Delete your account
Sorry to see you go! You can delete your WaterGiraffe account and data at any time, right from the app or by sending us a request.

Option 1: In the app
The fastest way. Your data is removed right away.
- Open WaterGiraffe on your Android device.
- Tap the Profile tab in the bottom bar.
- Open Settings and scroll to the bottom.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.

Option 2: Send a request
Uninstalled the app or can't sign in? Send us a request and we'll handle it for you.
What gets deleted
- 💧 Your profile: name, weight, activity level and daily goal
- 📊 Your complete drink history, stats and streaks
- 🏅 Milestones, badges and challenge progress
- ⏰ Your reminder settings
What may be kept
- 🧾 Purchase records held by Google Play, as required for billing and tax
- 🔒 Limited records we must keep by law or to prevent fraud
- 📉 Anonymous, aggregated statistics that can't identify you

Requests sent by email are processed within 30 days. You'll get a confirmation once your data is gone.

Have WaterGiraffe Pro? Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
